Paris Fashion Week: Showroom, Pop-Up and Event Venue Rental
Finding a showroom or venue in Paris during Fashion Week
During Fashion Week, Paris brings together buyers, journalists, influencers and clients from all over the world in just a few days. For a brand, being in the city at that moment is a key opportunity to meet buyers, present collections and build visibility.
The challenge is finding the right venue. Well-located spaces are booked far in advance, prices rise, and what is available varies greatly from one neighbourhood to another.
This guide covers the main options for setting up in Paris during Fashion Week (showroom rental, pop-up store, event venue), the criteria that matter when choosing, and another way to collaborate: a brand partnership in an existing space.
The Paris Fashion Week calendar
Paris hosts several fashion weeks every year, so it is best to start looking for a venue several months before the season you are targeting.
| Period (approximate) | Week | Collections shown |
|---|---|---|
| January | Menswear, then Haute Couture | Men's Fall-Winter, Haute Couture Spring-Summer |
| Late February – early March | Womenswear | Women's Fall-Winter |
| June | Menswear | Men's Spring-Summer |
| July | Haute Couture | Haute Couture Fall-Winter |
| Late September – early October | Womenswear | Women's Spring-Summer |
Exact dates are published each season by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. Showroom weeks often start a few days before the shows.
Showroom rental, pop-up or event venue: your options in Paris
There are four main formats. They differ in purpose, budget and the level of organisation required.
| Format | Best for | Strengths | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Showroom rented by the week | Selling to buyers (wholesale) | The format buyers expect, a dedicated space | High demand, peak-season prices, very early booking |
| Shared showroom or trade show | Launching on a limited budget | Shared costs, existing buyer traffic | Diluted visibility, little control over image |
| Event venue | Show, presentation, press evening | Capacity, a sense of occasion | Short duration, heavy logistics, significant budget |
| Pop-up store | Selling to the public and creating buzz | Direct contact with customers, street visibility | Location is decisive, fit-out required |
The choice depends first on your objective: sales appointments with buyers, a press presentation, a client event or a brand activation. That objective determines the type of venue, more than what the space is called.
Another option: a brand partnership. Renting a showroom is not the only way to be present in Paris during Fashion Week. A brand can also team up, for the time of an operation, with a company already established in the fashion world. Monnier Paris hosts this kind of collaboration in its spaces on Place des Victoires. The terms of each partnership are defined according to the project.
How to choose a showroom or event venue in Paris
The right venue depends above all on the purpose of your operation, not on its size or how central it is.
- Proximity or visibility. A venue close to the shows and other showrooms makes it easier for buyers to drop by between presentations. A venue on a busy street, with a shop window, works better for a launch or a pop-up. The Marais, the Tuileries, Palais-Royal, Saint-Germain and the Place des Victoires area each offer a different balance between the two.
- Privacy or footfall. A presentation to buyers or press often calls for a calm, controlled setting. A consumer activation, on the other hand, needs footfall and a crowd effect.
- Accessibility. During Fashion Week, guests go from one appointment to the next: a venue that is easy to reach by metro or car, with a clear welcome, makes them more likely to come.
- Capacity and flexibility. You need to be able to display pieces, hold appointments and, if needed, host an event without rearranging the whole space.
- Character of the venue. The address and the architecture are part of the message: they should be consistent with your brand image.
- Logistics. Deliveries, opening hours, security, electricity and Wi-Fi matter as much as aesthetics.
- Contractual framework. Check what the venue actually allows: duration, type of activity, on-site sales, insurance.

We design joint operations with selected brands, held in our spaces as part of collaborations defined case by case. Monnier Paris already works with major luxury houses.
Located on Place des Victoires, in central Paris and at the heart of the city's historic fashion district, Monnier Paris welcomes its partners in a 100 m² showroom with 6-metre ceilings, private fitting rooms for try-ons and buyer appointments, a 30 m² mezzanine for confidential meetings, and a kitchen for catering. Possibilities are considered according to the layout of the space and each brand's needs, for example:
- a collection presentation or product launch;
- a press event or cocktail reception for the brand's guests;
- shop windows to raise the brand's visibility with visitors to the area;
- an activation designed for social media and influencers.
Each collaboration is built with the brand: objectives, format, duration, set design and expected visibility.
A member of the Monnier Paris team is present throughout the operation, for coordination and hosting. Operations last from half a day to 10 days, including set-up and dismantling, and the space can welcome up to around 140 people at a time.
Monnier Paris has already hosted operations for major fashion houses, from pop-ups to press showrooms.

Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I look for a venue?
Ideally three to six months before the Fashion Week you are targeting. The most sought-after spaces go first.
What kinds of operations can be held at Monnier?
Collection presentations, launches, press events, window takeovers and social media activations. Each project is considered case by case.
Are partnerships possible outside Fashion Week?
Yes. Fashion Week is a highlight, but an operation can be organised at other times of the year.
How do I find a space for a pop-up store in Paris?
Start with the neighbourhoods that match your clientele (the Marais, Saint-Germain, the Place des Victoires area), then contact specialist agencies, commercial landlords and venues that host brand operations. For Fashion Week, start your search several months ahead.
How much does a pop-up store in Paris cost?
It depends on the neighbourhood, the size, the duration and the season: prices peak during Fashion Week and on the busiest streets. Budget for fit-out, staff, insurance and logistics too, not just the space.
Planning an operation for Fashion Week?
Tell us about your project, your objectives and the period you have in mind: brand or agency, type of operation (presentation, launch, press event, window, other), preferred dates and contact details. Our team will explore the collaboration possibilities with you.
